WhatsApp has finally added a new voice message feature for iPhone users that will allow them to pause and resume voice messages while recording. This feature is only available for iOS users. Additionally, iOS users will also get a new Focus Mode, which is a part of iOS 15. WhatsApp's new pause and resume voice recording feature is available for WhatsApp update version 22.7.75 on iOS. Hence, the iPhone users are required to update their WhatsApp to WhatsApp version 22.7.75 on the App Store in order to access the new feature.

iOS users can try out WhatsApp's new voice message feature by swiping up and locking their voice recording. They can further tap on the pause and resume buttons to exercise the same. WhatsApp had tested the feature in October, last year. The feature is currently available for iPhone users only, and Android users may get it soon.

Another WhatsApp feature that iPhone users get is the new Focus Mode. This feature allows users to receive messages from selected contacts only. Upon turning on the Focus Mode, the users will get messages from selected contacts only if they have turned on the ‘do not disturb’ mode. The Focus mode feature came as a part of iOS 15, hence, you will be required to update your iPhone to the latest iOS version if you haven’t updated yet.

Meanwhile, WhatsApp is testing a new feature that will allow users to import chats from android to iOS. The feature is currently available on WhatsApp beta for iOS only The WhatsApp development tracker, Wabetainfo has shared a screengrab of the same, where WhatsApp can be seen asking users for their permission to import chat history from an Android device. To transfer chat from Android to iOS, users would require USB cables to connect the two phones and then transfer data between phones. The feature is likely to be released for a wider audience in near future.
