Good news for Apple fans! Apple’s newest iPhone 14 Pro Max has set a benchmark in a battery test by outperforming the Android flagship phones. The battery comparison has been conducted between iPhone 14 Pro Max and some of the popular flagship phones like Google Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 6 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. The battery test was conducted at PhoneArena where the phone was put through a simulator. And, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are the two winners in this specific test. Not only that, even the iPhone 14 Pro, which has a smaller battery, has obliterated the competition. Check how these smartphones perform in the test.

iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max’s battery performance in first phase i.e, web-browsing test

1. iPhone 14 Pro Max: 19 hours and 5 minutes

2. iPhone 14 Pro: 16 hours and 18 minutes

3. Pixel 7 Pro: 14 hours and 19 minutes

4. Pixel 7: 13 hours and 56 minutes

5. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra: 13 hours and 17 minutes

6. Pixel 6 Pro: 13 hours and 13 minutes

The second stage of the test evaluates the phones’ battery capacity for video playback YouTube video playback also requires Wi-Fi or data to be enabled. The test reportedly continued till the smartphone’s total battery’s demise. Each phone had a brightness set at 100% and now see how they perform

1. iPhone 14 Pro Max: 11 hours and 0 minutes

2. Pixel 7 Pro: 9 hours and 39 minutes

3. iPhone 14 Pro: 9 hours and 14 minutes

4. Pixel 7: 9 hours and 13 minutes

5. Pixel 6 Pro: 9 hours and 10 minutes

7. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra: 7 hours and 27 minutes

While on paper it seems that the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max would have the largest physical batteries but that’s not the case. In fact, iPhone 14 Pro, has the smallest battery compared to the Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 6 Pro, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra while the iPhone 14 Pro Max has the smallest battery than the other large flagships.
