iQoo on Thursday dropped the first official teaser for the launch of the Z-series in India. Even though the company has not confirmed the model name, reports suggest it will be the Z3 5G.
The official teaser follows a report that said the handset would launch between June 10-15 in India. The iQoo Z3 5G will also be the first phone in India to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G processor. The report said that the phone would be priced around ₹25,000 and placed below the recently launched iQoo 7.
That said, iQoo has already launched the Z3 5G in China. The phone is available there for a starting price of CNY 1,699 ( ₹18,900 approximately). It comes in Cloud Oxygen, Deep Space, and Nebula colour options.
The smartphone houses a 6.58-inch full HD+ screen with up to a 120Hz refresh rate. The China version also runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 768G processor coupled with up to 8GB of RAM. The phone has up to 256GB of built-in storage. There is also support for microSD card that supports additional storage up to 1TB.
The smartphone comes with a 4,400mAh battery with 55W fast charging support. Apart from 5G, connectivity options include 4G, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack. There’s a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
iQoo Z3 5G comes with a triple rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel sensor, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. For selfies, it comes with a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
