LG Q52 mid-range phone launched, check price, specifications, and more

LG has quietly launched a new budget smartphone in South Korea. Called Q52, the smartphone is the successor to the LG Q51 that launched earlier this year.

LG Q52 is available in Korea for KRW 330,000, which is roughly ₹21,000. It comes in Silky White and Silky Red colour options. As of now, there is no word on when or whether the phone will be available outside Korea.

LG Q52 specifications

LG’s latest mid-range phone comes with a 6.67-inch IPS LCD with a punch-hole camera module and HD+ resolution. It measures 160 x 76.7 x 8.4mm and comes with MIL-STD-810G certification.

For performance, LG Q52 relies upon MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz. It is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage. The phone also has a MicroSD slot for additional storage. A 4,000mAh battery powers the phone.

In the camera department, LG Q52 has as many as four sensors on the back. The setup consists of a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, the phone has a 13-megapixel sensor.

On the software front, it runs on Android 10 out-of-the-box. Other features of the phone are Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB Type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack, and dual-SIM support. It is worth noting that LG Q52 does not come with 5G support. The phone house a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Bonus: LG Wing India launch update

LG will soon launch its unique dual-screen phone, LG Wing, in India. The smartphone features two displays with the smaller one rotating to an angle of 90 degrees. When rotated, you can hold the phone in different ways. LG Wing comes in two colour options of Aurora Gray and Illusion Sky.
