Separately, Xiaomi is working on new and improved camera technology. The company showed off a new camera lens that is capable of capturing 300% more light and click up to 20% sharper images. In an official video, Xiaomi revealed a camera lens that comes out of the phone body just like a point-and-shoot zoom camera. The concept is quite identical to Samsung’s Galaxy K Zoom. The company did not disclose when it will make the technology available on commercial handsets. Could it be the Mi 11 series? We will have to wait another a few months to find out.
