Realme is gearing up to launch another smartphone under its Q series. Details about the phone are still scarce, but a few recent leaks have revealed some important features. Ahead of the official launch, the new Realme Q phone has made an appearance on China’s 3C regulatory site.
Sporting RMX2117 model number, the new Realme Q phone is confirmed to come with 5G connectivity. It is going to feature 30W fast charging. Before the listing, the phone had been spotted on TENAA certification website revealing it has a 6.5-inch LCD with Full HD+ resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio.
According to GSMArena, Realme Q will sport a 48-megapixel primary sensor on the back. The camera array on the back will also consist of an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor and 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
The next Realme Q phone will sport an octa-core processor that could couple with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB storage. The base model could feature 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage. It is likely to run on a 4,900mAh battery.
Realme’s latest addition in the Q series is set to go official on October 13. Right now, there is no word on the release of the phone in markets outside China.
That said, Realme is gearing up for an AIOT launch event in India on October 7. The company is likely to introduce IoT products, SLED 4K TV, and more at the event. Realme will also take the wraps off the long-awaited Realme 7i.
Another highlight of the event is going to be Realme Watch S Pro which is touted as the company’s first smartwatch with a circular display and AMOLED panel. The smartwatch will most likely compete with Xiaomi’s Mi Watch Evolve which launched in India recently with a price tag of ₹10,999.
