Realme 7, Realme 7 Pro India launch date confirmed, check key specs, features

After launching C12 and C15 in India, Realme is ready with a new smartphone series launch. Realme has confirmed it will unveil Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro on September 3. The launch event is scheduled to begin at 12:30 PM.

Ahead of the official launch, Realme has begun building hype around the phone through a bunch of teasers. “Introducing India’s Fastest Charging technology & 2nd Generation 64MP Quad Camera to the mid-range segment,” said the company in a tweet.

Realme has also posted an image of the phone that confirms the presence of a punch-hole display on the front and support for 65W fast charging support. The phone is also listed on Flipkart without availability and price details.

Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth has hinted that the upcoming smartphones may come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. According to older leaks, Realme 7 phones may come with better screen experience and higher battery back up.

Apart from the above mentioned, not much is known about the upcoming Realme 7 series. The smartphone series will succeed Realme’s popular Realme 6 lineup which includes Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro. The two phones are available online for starting prices of ₹13,999 and ₹17,999.

The upcoming Realme phones will compete with Xiaomi’s popular Redmi Note 9 and Samsung’s Galaxy M31s.

Redmi Note 9 is listed online for a starting price of 11,999. The top-end model comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB storage. This variant is available for starting price of 13,499.

Samsung’s 6,000mAh battery-powered phone is available for a starting price of ₹19,999 for the 6GB model. The top-model with 8GB of RAM is available for ₹21,449.

That said, Realme’s 7 series is now set to debut in September. We’re likely to find out more about the smartphone series in coming days.
