Xiaomi will launch its Redmi Note 10 series in India today. The company is hosting a virtual conference to showcase the new smartphone lineup. You can watch the live stream on the company’s official YouTube channel. The event is scheduled to start at 12noon.
Ahead of the official launch, Xiaomi has already confirmed a few features on the Redmi Note 10 series. According to official teasers, the lineup will offer a 108-megapixel camera, a Super AMOLED display, and up to 120Hz refresh rate.
Redmi Note 10: Expected features, specifications
According to reports, Xiaomi’s new smartphone lineup will feature at least three handsets, Redmi Note 10, Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max.
The Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, the top-end model in the lineup, will offer a larger 6.67-inch display with an AMOLED panel and up to 120Hz refresh rate. For performance, it will have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 732G processor. On the camera front, it is said to come with a 108-megapixel primary sensor. The configuration will also feature an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, 2-megapixel depth sensor, and 5-megapixel macro lens.
Other leaked features of the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max are 33W fast charging support, 5020mAh battery, and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. It will also come with IR Blaster, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front, and IP52 certification.
Rumours suggest the base model, Redmi Note 10, will come with a 6.43-inch DotDisplay with Full HD+ resolution. For performance, it will rely on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 678 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage. A 5,000mAh battery will power the phone. It is also said to come with 33W fast charging. The phone will most likely have a quad-camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor.
Leakster Ishan Agarwal says the Pro model will have a 6.67-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and AMOLED display. It would also feature a 64-megapixel primary camera on the back.
