Rumoured Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max shows up in Antutu benchmark, reveals RAM capacity

Apple recently held it’s its September 15 ‘Time Flies’ event but unfortunately, there were no iPhones in that. The company has said that iPhones will be coming late this year and there might be another event for it. But until the four rumoured iPhone 12 models launch, leaks continue to make their way on to the web. This time, the most powerful in the lot, Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max seems to have showed up on Antutu benchmarking, revealing some crucial specs. 

As shared by Antutu on its Weibo account, the AnTuTu Benchmark score of iPhone 12 Pro Max shows it to feature 6GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage. It is worth adding that the RAM capacity usually stays the same in all the iPhones in the same series. This leaves us with one question, besides 128GB how many other storage variants will be there in the upcoming lineup.

It is being said that 128GB storage variant could be the base version in the iPhone 12 Pro series. These may also be the first to feature 6GB RAM as the iPhones before this came with 4GB RAM.

We already know that Apple’s A14 Bionic processor will likely power iPhone 12 devices as the chipset has already debuted in the iPad Air 4th-generation. This chipset is also the first for Apple that is made using 5nm process. 

The account event showed the score achieved by iPhone 12 Pro Max - 5,72,333. As per the same post, iPhone 11 Pro Max scored 5,24,436, which is not much of a difference. However, it is too early to jump to conclusions right now since Apple usually does a good job in optimising the OS, RAM and storage while you work on apps.
