Samsung Galaxy A22 leaks once again: Check expected specs, features

Samsung Galaxy A22 will reportedly launch next month. The phone will come in both 4G and 5G versions.

Samsung Galaxy A22 has leaked once again. This time around, the smartphone has made an appearance on Geekbench benchmarking website. The listed phone is the 4G version of the Samsung Galaxy A22.

According to the listing, Samsung Galaxy A22 4G will run on Android 11 and has 6GB of RAM. Under the hood runs a MediaTek MT6769V/CT processor, which is said to be Helio G80. As far as the benchmark scores go, Samsung Galaxy A22 4G (model number SM-A225F) has bagged 293 single-core points and 1247 multi-core points.

Separately, Samsung Galaxy A22 4G has made an appearance on the US FCC website as well. The listing reveals the phone has a 15W charger.

The latest info is in line with the recent series of leaks. In case you did not know, Galaxy A22 is rumoured to come in both 4G and 5G versions.

The 4G model is said to come with a 6.4-inch AMOLED display. It will run on the G80 processor. The variant will have a 48-megapixel primary sensor coupled with 5-megapixel, 2-megapixel, and 2-megapixel sensors. For selfies, it will have a 13-megapixel camera.

The 5G version of the Galaxy A22 is said to come with the same 6.4-inch display with an LCD panel. It will reportedly run on a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. Unlike the 4G model, it will come with a triple-camera setup, featuring a 48-megapixel primary sensor coupled with 5-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. The smartphone is also expected to come with a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging. On the software front, it will most have Android 11 out-of-the-box.
