Samsung Galaxy F series is coming soon, details of the first phone revealed

After Galaxy M and A series of phones, Samsung is working on a new smartphone series for the Indian market. Called Galaxy F, Samsung’s new series will focus on the budget segment. The Galaxy F is expected to debut in India later this month.

Ahead of the official launch, details of the first smartphone under the upcoming Galaxy F series have leaked online. Called Galaxy F41, the phone will look identical to the current premium Galaxy M and Galaxy A phones.  A leaked user manual reveals the phone has a waterdrop-like notch on the front.

The back panel houses a triple-rear camera setup. It also has a fingerprint sensor on the back. There is also a 3.5mm headphone jack. The leaked manual also hints at a dual-speaker setup, reports GSMArena.

According to reports, the Galaxy F41 will sport a 64-megapixel primary camera sensor, USB Type-C, and dual-SIM support.

Alongside the leaked manual, Samsung Galaxy F41 has made a pit stop at Geekbench benchmarking website. The listing hints the phone will run on Exynos 9611 processor, the same chip that powers the likes of Galaxy M51 and Galaxy M31s phones. The phone is also expected to come with 6GB of RAM.

The smartphone, sporting model number SM-F415F, scored 348 and 1,339 points on the single and multi-core tests respectively. The benchmark scores hint at its mid-range-level capabilities.

As said earlier, Samsung’s Galaxy F series phones will be priced between ₹15,000 and ₹20,000. The phones will also focus on the camera. The first phone under the Galaxy F series is expected to be available via online retail channels only. The company may later make the phone available to offline channels as well.
