Samsung is reportedly working on a new Galaxy M smartphone. Unlike the rumoured Galaxy M02, the upcoming Samsung phone will pack high-end specifications. Touted as the most powerful Galaxy M smartphone, it could hit shelves next year with the Galaxy M62 moniker.

According to a Sammobile report, Samsung Galaxy M62 will come with 256GB built-in storage. It is also expected to come with mammoth 7,000mAh battery. Apart from storage capacity and a tentative ‘Galaxy M62’ moniker, very little is known about the phone. The report says upcoming Galaxy M device carries model number SM-M625F.

That said, Samsung has kept its Galaxy M-series quite dynamic. The line-up includes entry-level M01 Core and mid-range Galaxy M31s. Sammobile points out that Samsung offers one powerful Galaxy M phone each year. For instance, it launched the Galaxy M40 in 2019. This year it was Galaxy M51. The Galaxy M62 does seem to make a lot of sense for a 2021 Galaxy M phone.

Separately, a recent report revealed that Samsung is working on a new 7,000mAh battery phone. The phone is speculated to launch as Galaxy M12 or Galaxy F12. It is rumoured to come with a 6.7-inch display with a punch-hole cut-out to house the front-facing camera.

The smartphone will reportedly run on Exynos 9611 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. The quad-camera setup could offer a combination of 48-megapixel, 8-megapixel, and 5-megapixel sensors on the back. For selfies, it could offer a 16-megapixel sensor.

The rumoured Samsung Galaxy M12/Galaxy F12 is likely to launch later this month for 13,000 approximately.
