Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series to launch on August 5

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 has been rumoured and leaked several times already with an expected launch next month. A new leak now suggests the launch date for the Galaxy Note 20 and probably more Samsung devices.

Samsung’s next ‘Galaxy Unpacked’ event will most likely take place on August 5, according to Ice Universe. The leakster simply says “August 5, TheNextGalaxy” which clearly hints at the launch date for the Galaxy Note 20. Samsung usually launches the Galaxy Note series in August so this information is possibly accurate.

The launch date leak comes shortly after Samsung “accidentally” leaked the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra on its Russian website. The listing was taken down but many people managed to take screenshots. The copper coloured Galaxy Note 20 Ultra features triple rear cameras and boxed edges similar to last year’s Galaxy Note 10. The S Pen also made an appearance in the listing.

Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is said to come with the unreleased Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor paired with up to 16GB of RAM. In select markets, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will feature the Exynos 992 chipset. The smartphone is set to feature a QHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate.

The upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event could see the debut of more Samsung devices. These include the Galaxy Fold 2, those very weird beans-like looking Galaxy Buds Live and Galaxy Watch 3. It looks like a jam packed event for Samsung with so many new products. This will also be the first virtual Galaxy Unpacked event for Samsung.
