Samsung has begun rolling out Android 11-based One UI Core 3.1 update for Galaxy M11 users. The latest firmware update brings a wide range of new features and the latest April security patch.
According to the changelog (via GSMArena), Samsung One UI Core 3.1 update brings an improved visual design, including new and more consistent icons, quick panel organisation, and notifications. The update also improved performance and is said to help apps run faster and perform better. Samsung has also restricted background activities to offer better performance and power usage, according to the changelog.
The latest update brings improvements to other elements such as the keyboard (Samsung), media and device control, improved digital wellbeing, and privacy protections.
Galaxy M11 overview
Samsung had launched the Galaxy M11 last year. The handset comes in two versions – 3+32GB and 4+64GB. After a recent price cut, the two models are available for ₹9,999 and ₹10,499, respectively.
The handset comes with a 6.4-inch HD+ Infinity-O display with a resolution of 720x1560 pixels. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC coupled with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of storage space.
On the camera front, the Samsung Galaxy M11 sports a triple rear camera consisting of a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, the phone features an 8-megapixel front camera. It runs on a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W charging technology.
