Samsung Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 4 LEAK! Radical changes incoming

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 details have already leaked! Samsung's next-gen foldables are still months away from their launch but tipsters have managed to grab hold of some developments we could see with these phones. And, it seems that Samsung is reserving most of its ambitious tech for the foldables.

The biggest change seems to be regarding the hinges, wherein Samsung is said to use a lightweight structure this time. The overall weight of the both the Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 are expected to go down. Moreover, Samsung is also adding dust resistance along with improved water resistance on these phones.

Samsung is also said to use an improved under-display camera technology on the Galaxy Z Fold 4. Instead of just offering it on the Main display, Samsung is testing it for the Cover display as well. In fact, Samsung is also planning to use the under display camera tech from the Fold 4 on the Flip 4, although current prototypes also have the traditional punch-hole cutout.

While the leak does not mention anything about an improved camera performance on the Z Flip 4, the Z Fold 4 could get newer cameras that would be on par with the 2022 flagship phone standards. Note that the current generation Z Fold 3 has similar camera hardware to the Galaxy S10 generation.

Sadly, Samsung isn't doing anything about the battery capacity. The forth generation foldables will retain the battery capacity of the third-gen models. It seems that Samsung's focus is on bringing down the weight and making the phone easier to use. What remains to be seen is that with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1/Exynos 2200 chips, how long will thee foldables last on a single charge.

Additionally, will Samsung be able to drop the overall prices down to make these phones more affordable? The Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 have seen some demand from consumers, which could mostly be due to the lower prices than the previous gen models.

Note that this just an unconfirmed leak for now and Samsung is yet to come up with any official announcements. Hence, you should not believe this blindly.
