Vivo S6 Pro with upgraded camera, new processor leaks online

Vivo is reportedly working on a premium variant of its S6 smartphone which launched in China in April this year. Dubbed Vivo S6 Pro, the smartphone is expected to come with 5G connectivity. Ahead of the official release, a new leak has given away important details of the upcoming Vivo phone.

According to the leak, Vivo S6 Pro will be available in at least two variants – 8GB, 128GB and 8GB, 256GB. The two models will be priced at CNY 2,998 ( ₹32,000 approximately) and CNY 3,298 ( ₹35,300 approximately) respectively.

According to the leak, Vivo S6 Pro will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor. The leak further reveals the phone will have as many as two cameras on the front. It is going to be powered by a 4,200mAh battery coupled with 33W fast charging support.

The rear camera unit will be a combination of four sensors – a 64-megapixel primary sensor (Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1), a 2-megapixel macro sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide-angle sensor. The dual-camera setup on the front will be the combination of 32-megapixel and 8-megapixel sensors.

In comparison, Vivo S6 comes with a 6.44-inch full HD+ display. It runs on Samsung’s Exynos 980 processor coupled with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of built-in storage.

The non-Pro model has four rear cameras including a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor, 2-megapixel macro sensor, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, it has a single 32-megapixel unit. It’s powered by a bigger 4,500mAh battery.
