iOS 16 for iPhones, watchOS 9 for Apple Watch coming on September 12; Will you get it?

At its Far Out Event, Apple has officially launched its iPhone 14 lineup, Apple Watch Series 8, an upgraded and affordable Apple Watch SE, the premium Apple Watch Ultra, and the AirPods Pro earbuds 2. However, there were two other major announcements which have been made official via iPhone maker, but silently. Apple has confirmed to roll out the final versions of iOS 16 for iPhones and watchOS 9 for Apple Watch users. After three months of beta testing, Apple has finally decided to feature the next operating systems by Apple to iPhones and Apple Watches. Starting on September 12, next Monday, iPhone, as well as Apple Watch users, will be able to update their system with the latest OS. watchOS 9 official rollout along with the launch of Apple Watch Series 8

With the launch of the Apple Watch Series 8 this year, Apple officially announced, "watchOS 9 will be available for Apple Watch Series 4 and later on Monday, September 12." That means the biggest and the latest update on the Apple Watch software will be available for the Apple Watch Series 4 or newer, the Apple Watch SE series, and the latest Apple Watch Ultra. To connect for the diverse features, it requires iPhone 8 or later and iPhone SE (2nd generation) or later running on the iOS 16, which is also scheduled to roll out on September 12.

watchOS 9 updates

The watchOS 9 includes new advanced running metrics to measure performance, like Stride Length, Ground Contact Time, Vertical Oscillation, and Running Power. New Workout Views, such as Segments, Splits, and Elevation, provide important metrics at just a glance. It also brings a significant update to the Workout app and the Sleep app. There is a new Medications app too which helps to track all the medicines and vitamins that a user takes every day.

Apple says, "users who are diagnosed with AFib can turn on the FDA-cleared AFib History feature and access important information, including an estimate of how frequently their heart rhythm shows signs of AFib."
