Microsoft Edge gets new Kids Mode

Microsoft on Thursday announced that it was turning on the Microsoft Edge Kids Mode, in order to create a protected online space for kids to be able to browse the web safely on a device also used by adults in the same house. You can check all the details here.

Amazon India announces $250 million Venture Fund

Amazon today announced a $250 million venture fund to help digitise startups and small and medium businesses in India. In addition to this, the company also announced its plans of digitising one million offline retailers and neighbourhood stores online, on the Amazon India marketplace by 2025 through its Local Shops on Amazon program.

Apple launches $200 million fund to fight climate change

Apple has announced a new carbon removal initiative, called the Restore Fund, that is going to make investments in forestry projects to help remove carbon from the atmosphere while also generating financial returns for the investors. Launched in collaboration with Conservation International and Goldman Sachs, Apple’s $200 million fund aims to remove at least 1 million metric tons of carbon dioxide annually from the atmosphere.

Facebook signs first deal to buy renewable energy in India

Facebook has signed a deal to buy renewable energy in India from a local firm's wind power project, the social media giant's first such deal in the South Asian nation, the companies said on Thursday.
