Samsung's next Galaxy Buds will have an in-ear design, ANC

Samsung is expected to launch its flagship Galaxy S21 series in January. Samsung could also launch its new pair of Galaxy Buds along with the Galaxy S21 smartphones. There have been a few leaks and reports on what to expect from the next Galaxy Buds. The latest one reveals active noise cancellation (ANC), an in-ear design and more.

According to a report by SamMobile, the new Galaxy Buds will not be an upgrade over the Galaxy Buds Live which launched earlier this year in August. Galaxy Buds Live has a unique design than the other Galaxy Buds or wireless earbuds in general. The latest product is said to feature an in-ear design similar to the first Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Buds+. This reaffirms past reports of Samsung not continuing with the Galaxy Buds Live design for its new TWS.

The report adds that the next-gen Galaxy Buds will have better Ambient mode. This feature lets users hear surrounding noise while listening to music. The new Galaxy Buds could also come with ANC. The previous models of Galaxy Buds other than Galaxy Buds Live don’t have ANC.

Samsung could name its new TWS ‘Galaxy Buds Beyond’ based on recent leaks. Galaxy Buds Beyond was also spotted with a battery capacity of 472mAh which is the same as the Galaxy Buds Live. With no change in design, we can expect under the hood improvements for the new Galaxy Buds.

Samsung’s next Galaxy event is rumored to take place on January 14 where it will launch Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra.
