Have any Aadhaar queries? Aadhaar card holders can submit Aadhaar queries both online and offline. It can be known that Aadhaar is a 12-digit unique identification number issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). The identification number acts as authentication of identity and residence for Indian citizens. Also, an Aadhaar card consists of an unique Aadhaar number, biometric details like a person's photo, iris, and fingerprint, demographic details like name, address, date of birth, etc.

It is important to get all these Aadhaar details updated in order to get to use the card without any trouble cropping up for the holder of the ID. However, in case of confusion, if you have any Aadhaar related query, you must be aware how you can submit it. Informing about the same, UIDAI said in a tweet, "Do Not Worry, If You Have Any #Aadhaar related queries. Dial 1947 (Toll-free) from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. (Mon to Sat) & on Sunday (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Helpline number is also available 24X7 and 365 days on IVRS mode."

Aadhaar card holders can also raise the Aadhaar related query online by visiting the official website of UIDAI that is https://uidai.gov.in/. The other ways to submit the query are by sending an email to help@uidai.gov.in, or by calling the toll-free number 1947 via offline route. How to file Aadhaar complaint online: Steps explained

Step 1:

Go to the official UIDAI website using any web browser or click on the link- https://uidai.gov.in/. 

Step 2:

Now from the homepage click on the ‘Contact & Support’ section.

Step 3:

Then Tap on ‘File a Complaint’ mentioned under the Grievance Redressal Mechanism option.

Step 4:

Select your complaint type as ‘Operator & Enrolment Agencies (Enrolment ID is optional)’ or ‘Aadhaar not Generated ( Enrolment ID is mandatory)’.

Step 5:

Then go to the ‘Personal Detail’ section, and provide your Enrolment ID (EID) and time of enrolment.

Step 6:

Enter your contact details.

Step 7:

Provide your PIN Code and select your village / town / city.

Step 8:

Then select type of complaint and specify the category.

Step 9:

Then you will have to write about your concern or issue in the provided field.

Step 10:

You will then have to enter the Captcha code and click on ‘Submit’.

Step 11:

After the 10th step you will get a 14 digit Complaint ID number, which can be used to track your complaint status.

Step 12:

You can track your complaint status by clicking on ‘Check Complaint Status’ under the ‘Contact & Support’ section.
