As soon as iPhone 13 launched in India, leaked information about the next Apple's smartphone, iPhone 14 series, started surfacing on the internet. Apple iPhone 14 is expected to launch next year around September. The notable part is that iPhone 13 is not too big an upgrade from iPhone 12. Reports have said that the iPhone 14 will be a game-changer smartphone and many are preferring to wait till next year rather than buying iPhone 13 now. These fans are also eagerly waiting to find out what iPhone 14 specifications are. So here goes.

Earlier, iPhone 14 Pro Max was tipped to feature a 60Hz LTPS display because Samsung is Apple's only 120Hz LTPO supplier. However, recent developments indicate that this may no longer be the case. All thanks to LG! According to PhoneArena, Apple now has enough wiggle room to include a 120Hz LTPO screen in its iPhone 14 Max models. The announcement comes only days after LG said that it had successfully manufactured 120Hz LTPO display panels and had received a large order from Apple for them. In the past, Apple had to solely depend on Samsung for its 120Hz displays, thereby giving the Korean tech giant a monopoly on the market.

With LG's debut in the Apple iPhone's display supply chain, the monopoly of Samsung's supply to Apply will end and will provide Cupertino-based company more space for negotiations. LG, on the other hand, will not be the only one. Samsung will be in charge of making LTPO panels for the iPhone 14 Pro, which is likely to be a smaller smartphone in the lineup.

iPhone 14 specifications: What can we expect?

According to the Korean publication The Elec, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max variants would use punch-hole cameras with 48 MP sensors instead next year. Considering the advancements in camera sensors and lens technology, the triple rear camera setup might not be laid out on the next iPhone 14 at the back.

There were reports that the next-generation iPhone will be without a SIM slot, and will only be equipped with an eSIM option. The removal of the now-famous display notch is one of the most consistent rumours regarding upcoming iPhones. However, the iPhone 14 is expected to ditch the notch, with Apple opting for a punch-hole front-facing camera, as seen on many of the best Android phones.
