Gionee Max Pro to launch in India on March 1

The teaser page that is already gone live on Flipkart reveals that the company will launch the Gionee Max Pro smartphone at 12PM on March 1.

Gionee launched the Gionee Max smartphone in India last year at a price of ₹5,999. Now, the company is planning to launch the Gionee Max Pro smartphone in India, which will be the successor to the company's last year's device.

The teaser page that is already gone live on Flipkart reveals that the company will launch the Gionee Max Pro smartphone at 12PM on March 1. The teaser carries Flipkart Unique branding, which means that it will be available online exclusively via the Walmart-owned e-retail platform.

Apart from revealing the launch date, the teaser page on Flipkart also reveals details about several key features of the upcoming smartphone, which includes the display, battery and storage space.

As per the details available on Flipkart, the upcoming Gionee Max Pro smartphone will come with a 6.52-inch HD+ display, which the teaser page says will offer users an “ultra max experience.” The image of the phone shared on the e-commerce platform reveals that the Gionee Max Pro will come with a single front camera that will be housed inside the dewdrop notch. The phone will also get extremely thin bezels on the sides and a thick chin.

While nothing much is known about the phone's design, one of the images shared on Flipkart reveals that the phone's rear camera setup will be housed inside a square-shaped camera module. The teaser page also reveals that the phone will be available in the Blue colour variant. Additionally, the teaser page reveals that the phone will offer 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage space. It will run on a massive 6,000mAh battery.

It is worth mentioning that while the teaser page does reveal several key details about the upcoming smartphone, it does leave plenty for interested buyers to guess until the launch date. For instance, there is no word on the processor or camera specifications. While we know that the phone will be available in the Blue colour variant, we don't know other colours in which the phone will be available. However, reports suggest that the upcoming smartphone is expected to be available in Black, Blue and Red colour variants. In addition to this, the price too remains a mystery for now.
