On the back, it has a quad-camera setup. The configuration includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and two 2-megapixel sensors.
For performance, Gionee M12 relies upon MediaTek’s Helio P22 and A25 SoCs, with 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB RAM and storage combinations, respectively. On the software front, it runs on Android 10 out-of-the-box.
A 5,100mAh battery powers the phone. It supports 10W charging. In terms of connectivity, Gionee M12 has USB Type-C, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and an FM radio. The phone also comes with dual-SIM functionality and LTE support.
Right now, there is no word on the availability of the phone in markets outside Nigeria. If launched in India, it would compete with the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 series and Realme Narzo.
