There have been a few “smallest” smartphones and the latest one aiming for this title is Mony Mist. Claimed to be the smallest 4G smartphone by the company, Mony Mist is a tiny phone that easily fits within your palm. But wait! Did the age of 'small' and 'smallest' smartphones not die out quite a few years ago? Well, not quite, according to this company, which sees a niche for Mony Mist smartphones. Here are the basic details about Mony Mist and its links to iPhone 4 as well as Apple's iconic chief Steve Jobs.

Mony Mist Price

Mony Mist is a fully functioning 4G smartphone that will launch with Android Pie, according to a report by GSMArena. The smartphone isn't up for sale yet but it is currently available at crowdfunding sites for $99. It will eventually sell at a retail price of $150.

Mony Mist Inspired by iPhone 4

Mony Mist comes in just the black colour, and it measures 89.5 x 45.5 x 11.5 mm. The phone looks somewhat similar to the Apple iPhone 4, and that was exactly the plan behind it. According to GSMArena, the Mist was inspired by the late Steve Jobs and is a homage to him. The phone is tiny and light so it's easy to carry around but because of its small screen navigating on it is a task in itself. This makes it difficult to read what's on websites properly due to the small screen size, and some buttons are practically unclickable, according to GSMArena.

Mony Mist Specs

Display: In terms of specs, Mony Mist features a 3-inch LCD display with a 480x854 pixel resolution, and a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Chipset: The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek MT6735 chipset which is seven years old. It packs 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. There's no micro SD card slot so you will have to do with the internal storage. On the software front, Mony Mist runs Android 9 out-of-the-box.

Camera: The tiny smartphone also manages to squeeze in a rear camera which is a 13-megapixel sensor. For selfies, Mony Mist features a front VGA camera. It can capture videos in 480p resolution along with Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS). The front camera can also capture 4080p videos.

Battery and other specs: Mony Mist is fueled by a 1250mAh battery. It also has a USB Type-C port and a dual micro SIM slot. In addition to 4G, the phone also supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0.

Considering its small size, Mony Mist is no doubt intended to be a secondary phone for those occasions the bigger, primary smartphone turns into a hindrance or cannot be carried, for instance while jogging or cycling.
