Microsoft Surface Go 3 tablet launched; check price, specs, availability
Back in September this year, Microsoft hosted a special event during which the company launched the Microsoft Surface Go 3 two-in-one tablet alongside the Surface Laptop Studio, Surface Pro 8 laptop, and Surface Duo 2 foldable phone among other things. At the time, the Microsoft Surface Go 3 was launched at a starting price of $399.99. Today, the company took a step further and launched the Microsoft Surface Go 3 two-in-one tablet in India.
Microsoft Surface Go 3 price and availability
Microsoft has launched the Surface Go 3 two-in-one tablet in India at a starting price of INR 42,999. This is the price of the variant with 10th gen Intel Pentium Gold processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of eMMC memory and it is available only to businesses.
The Surface Go 3 two-in-one tablet is also available in three more variants. The variant with 10th gen Intel Core i3 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of eMMC memory is priced at INR 47,999. This variant is also available to businesses only. The third variant comes with 10th gen Intel Pentium Gold processor, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD storage and it costs INR 57,999 to customers. The fourth variant comes with 10th gen Intel Core i3 processor, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD storage. This variant is priced at INR 62,999 and it is also available to business customers only.
As far as availability is concerned, the variant of the Microsoft Surface Go 3 two-in-one tablet with 10th gen Intel Pentium Gold processor, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD storage is up for pre-orders in India via Amazon India. It will go on sale in the country via Amazon India starting November 23. Commercial units of the device, that is, the remaining three variants of the device will be available in the country via authorised resellers starting December 2021.
On the other hand, the Microsoft Surface Pen will be available at a price of INR 8,790 on Amazon India.
Microsoft Surface Go 3 specs
As far as the features are concerned, the Microsoft Surface Go 3 comes with a 10.5-inch PixelSense touchscreen display with an aspect ratio of 3:2. It is powered by up to the 10th generation Intel Core i3 processor. Microsoft says that this processor gives the tablet a nearly 60% boost over the previous generation models. This processor is coupled with either 4GB or 8GB of RAM and 64GB eMMC or 128GB SSD storage options.
The Microsoft Surface Go 3 comes with a webcam with a resolution of 1080 pixels with Dolby Audio for advanced audio quality. Coming to the software, the Microsoft Surface Go 3 two-in-one tablet runs on the recently launched Windows 11 operating system.
On the battery front, the Surface Go 3 is backed by a 2.65Wh Lithium-ion battery, which according to the company offers up to 11 hours of battery life. It also features support for LTE and Wi-Fi connectivity options and a Microsoft Surface Pen stylus.
