Lenovo-owned Motorola has launched two new smartphones in the US. The latest Moto G Fast sits between Moto G Power and Moto G Stylus mid-range phones. All new Moto E is an upgraded version of the phone with the same name.
Motorola Moto G Fast has a 6.4-inch 720pixels 19:9 HD display. The phone runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 665 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage. The phone supports expandable storage up to 512GB via a microSD card. It is powered by a 4,000mAh battery. The phone runs on Android 10 out-of-the-box.
In the camera department, the phone offers a 16-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. It has an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
Motorola's Moto G Fast is already up for pre-orders in the US with a price tag of $199 ( ₹15,000 approximately).
Next up is the Moto E 2020. The phone has a larger 6.2-inch HD panel, up from 5.5-inch on the last year's phone. It sports a fingerprint sensor as well. This is the first-ever Moto E phone to sport the fingerprint biometric sensor.
Since it's targeted at the entry-level segment, Moto E 2020 has Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage. The phone is powered by a 3,550mAh battery.
Moto E 2020 comes with two rear cameras featuring 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. Other key features of the phone include IPX2 rating for dust and water resistance and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The upgraded Moto E is priced at $149 ( ₹11,000 approximately).
