Nubia Red Magic 6, Red Magic 6 Pro gaming phones launched
Nubia's Red Magic 6 phones are the first to launch with 165W refresh rate.
Nubia has launched two new gaming smartphones from its Red Magic series. Nubia Red Magic 6 and Red Magic 6 Pro smartphones come with Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 888 processor, and up to 18GB of RAM. The new gaming phones have been made official in China.
Red Magic 6 starts at CNY 3,799 ( ₹42,700) for the base model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It comes in three more variants of 12GB+128GB, 12GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB. Red Magic 6 Pro has a starting price of CNY 4,399 ( ₹49,600 approx) for the base model with 12GB RAM and 128GB storage. It is available in four more variants of 12GB+256GB, 16GB+256GB, 16GB+256GB and 18GB+512GB. The smartphones come in colour options of black, silver, and transparent as well.
The Red Magic 6 series comes with almost the same set of specifications except for a few differences. Red Magic 6 Pro comes with up to 18GB of RAM, has a smaller 4,500mAh battery but with faster 120W charging speed. On the Red Magic 6, there’s a 5,050mAh battery with 65W fast charging speed. Red Magic 6 has an active cooling air fan that spins up to 18,000 RPM, while the Pro has it up to 20,000 RPM.
Red Magic 6 and 6 Pro have a 6.8-inch full HD+ display with 165Hz refresh rate, and 360Hz multi-finger touch sampling rate. Both the smartphones are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, and run Android 11-based Red Magic OS 4. There’s a triple rear camera setup on the Red Magic 6 series with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.
