Poco M2 Pro vs Realme 6: Battle of best phones under ₹20,000

Poco has finally unveiled its much-anticipated Poco M2 Pro smartphone in India. The device comes in three variants and aims at handsets from rivals in the sub- ₹20,000 segment. This is also the company’s second smartphone to arrive in India. But before you get your hands on the new device, it is important to take a look at its arch-rival as well. We are talking about Realme 6, which comes with nearly the same combination of specs and falls in the same price range. So, we compared Poco M2 Pro with Realme 6 in terms of specs. Check it out!
Both the smartphones fall in the same price segment. The Poco M2 Pro costs ₹13,999, ₹14,999 and ₹16,999 for the 4GB+64GB, 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB respectively. The Realme 6 on the other hand costs you ₹14,999, ₹16,999 and ₹17,999 for the 4GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB respectively.
The Poco M2 Pro has a 6.67-inch FHD+ (2400x1080 pixels) LCD screen with 395ppi. The Realme 6, however, has a slightly smaller 6.5-inch screen with the same resolution and 90Hz refresh rate.
RAM and Storage:
Both come in three variants In Poco M2 Pro you get 4GB+64GB, 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB versions while in Realme 6 you get 4GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB models. Both also support microSD cards.
The Poco M2 Pro runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G octa-core processor with Adreno 618 GPU, while the rival Realme 6 is powered by MediaTek Helio G90T octa-core processor with ARM G76 GPU.
Cameras are the highlights of the two smartphones. The Poco M2 Pro boasts of a 48-megapixel (f/1.9 aperture) lens along with 5-megapixel macro (f/2.4 aperture), 8-megapixel ultra-wide (f/2.2 aperture) and 2-megapixel (f/2.4 aperture) setup. Realme 6 gets a 64-megapixel (f/1.8) sensor with 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor (f/2.3), 2-megapixel Macro lens (f/2.4) and a Monochrome portrait lens. At the front, both have a 16-megapixel sensor.
As for the battery, the Poco M2 Pro is backed by a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging tech via USB Type-C port. Realme 6 supports a slightly low capacity 4300mAh battery with 30W charging tech.
