Realme GT price teased ahead of launch

    Realme earlier this week unveiled its new flagship phone, GT earlier this week at MWC 2021. The company has now teased the pricing of its upcoming smartphone. Realme GT is officially launching on March 4.

    According to a teaser image spotted by tipster Mukul Sharma, Realme GT will be priced under RMB 2,999 ( 34,000 approx) in China. Based on this pricing, Realme GT will be an affordable flagship smartphone. Realme GT is confirmed to run on Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 888 processor. The company has taken inspiration from Ford's GT cars for the phone's design. Realme GT features a combination of black and yellow colours, and it has a dual tone vegan leather design.

    The smartphone will also come with a stainless steel VC cooling system. This new cooling system is said to improve the phone's heat dissipation performance by applying stainless steel in the cooling system and optimising the heat dissipation structure.

    The company is also adopting a “Dual Platform-Dual Flagship” strategy wherein they'll adopt both the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 series and MediaTek's flagship Dimensity series 5G platform, and will launch two flagship series.

    According to leaks and rumours, Realme GT is expected to feature an AMOLED display with a punch-hole camera, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It could pack 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. On the software front, Realme GT will most likely run Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11. The smartphone is also expected to sport a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an ultra wide angle lens, a depth sensor and a macro sensor.
