There are some new renders of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 doing the rounds of the internet that gives us a look at the back of the upcoming foldable smartphone. There’s also information about the colours the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 might come in. Reports state that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 might be announced on August 3 adding more weight to the rumours of a big Samsung Unpacked event being scheduled on the same date. Rumours also suggest that the US price of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 might be around $1,400 ( 104,124 approx). This speculated price tag is a little lower than what the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G launched at ($1,499).

Rumours about the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 have spotted for a while now, but we haven’t seen much on them except for some screenshots and leaked press mock-ups. These new renders that have been recently spotted come courtesy GizNext that gives us quite a detailed look at what the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 might look like.

According to these renders, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 will not look very different from its predecessors except for the fact that it is expected to come with a larger external display. Giznext says that this display is going to be 1.9 inches, up from the 1.1-inch screen the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G had. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is also being pegged to get a bigger pair of main cameras that are going to be aligned vertically beside the display. These renders show off a bit more of the outer screen’s range like media controls. So this means that the outer screen is going to support touch functionality.

The Giznext renders also show what colours the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 might come in - there is a dark green, a pastel yellow, and a black. The post also suggests that it might come in pink, grey, dark blue and white. All the images have a two-toned look where the external display and the cameras are encased in a solid, glossy black glass rectangle.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 specs

There have been plenty of rumours about what the specs on this upcoming clamshell phone might be, with some disagreeing with others. One rumour suggested that the external display would be 3-inches, while Giznext says it is going to 1.9-inches. Besides that, there are rumours that suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 might work with the Samsung S Pen stylus which might be coming to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 traditional foldable as well.

However, since the main display on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is not too large - 6.9-inch with a 25:9 ratio screen like its predecessors as Giznet suggests - supporting the S Pen might not be very helpful from the use-case point-of-view, but it is an exciting accessory to have. We should learn more about the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 as we move closer to August.
