The 4,000mAh battery phone uses a 120W fast charger. The phone also can get to 50% charge in just five minutes. Smartphone companies are in a race to launch phones that are compatible with high-speed charging. The technology allows the companies to pack the standard 4,000-5,000mAh batteries without changing the form factor. Fast charging also allows users to less worry about the battery backup of a phone. Moreover, things such as 5G, higher resolution screens, and resource-intensive games are becoming a basic ask for a premium phone. Smartphone companies are also likely to push “120W charging” as the new USP for their future phones.
