Vivo will soon launch its new X50 series in India, announced Vivo India CEO Jerome Chen in a Facebook post. The company had announced the new smartphone series in China on Monday.

It is worth noting that Vivo's X50 series features as many as three phones, Vivo X50, Vivo X50 Pro, and Vivo X50 Pro+.

Vivo X50 series comes with 5G support, thanks to Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 SoC coupled with X55 modem. The series also bets big on the camera capabilities as it offers Super Night Mode and Astra Mode.

Vivo X50 Pro features one selfie camera and four rear cameras. The X50 Pro and X50 Pro+ have a periscope lens which helps deliver up to 60x hybrid zoom. The main camera unit on X50 Pro+ is a 1/1.3-inch ISOCELL GN1 sensor. The top-end model X50 Pro Plus has up to 12GB of RAM and supports 120Hz display. The phone is powered by a 4,130mAh battery with 44 fast charging.

Chen, however, did not disclose the exact India release date and other necessary information in his post. The phones are currently up for pre-order in China for a starting price of CNY 3,498 which is 37,100 approximately.

More details about the X50 series are likely to be announced in the coming days.
