Vivo Y53s 5G with 90Hz display, 5000mAh battery launched: Check price, specifications, and more
Y53s 5G is said to be the successor to the last year’s Y52s. The latest handset has Snapdragon 480 5G processor, 8GB RAM, and up to 256GB of built-in storage. Here is what else the new handset offers.
Vivo has launched a new version of its four-year-old Y53 handset. Called Y53s, the handset is currently available in China for a starting price of CNY 1,799 ( ₹20,000 approximately). The smartphone is said to be a successor to the Y52s, which had launched last year.
In the camera department, you get an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. On the back, it has a dual-camera setup, consisting of a 64-megapixel primary sensor and a macro sensor.
While the base model (8+128) is priced at ₹20,000 approximately, there’s also another 256GB model that costs CNY 1,999 ( ₹22,800 approximately). There is no word on when the phone will be available in markets outside China.
That said, Vivo is gearing up for another Y-series launch in the Indian market. The company has already begun dropping teasers for the upcoming Y73. The handset will launch on June 10. Vivo promises the phone will offer a slim and stylish design with a gradient textured back panel.
As far specs go, leaks reveal the phone will come with a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with HRD10 support. A MediaTek Helio G95 processor will power the phone. The phone will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There will also be 3GB of extended RAM. The triple camera setup on the back will consist of a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel bokeh sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. Vivo Y73 will pack a 4,000mAh battery with a 33W flash charge.
