It integrates Hitachi's award-winning Travelstar hard drives, which can be found in virtually all top brand notebooks around the world. Known for its proven, dependable design, Hitachi Travelstar drives provide solid shock protection at 400 G operating and 1,000 G non operating shock, and features the company's TrueTrack Technology, which provides added data protection against rough handling.

The SimpleTough portable drive comes in the capacity of 500 GB.Powered by an included USB 2.0 cable, the Hitachi X Mobile Drive is designed for the growing mobile world. It comes in two variants — one with 500 GB worth of space and the other with 320 GB.

The new Hitachi XL Desktop Drive comes with a capacity of 2 TB, which means you can store up to 6,60,000 photos, 5,00,000 songs in the MP3 format or 153 hours of digital video.
