Just over a couple of weeks after launching the first BlackBerry 7.1 OS device in India, Research in Motion (RIM) announced on Wednesday the launch of its second smartphone in the Curve category: the Curve 9320.

Broadly, only one major feature distinguishes the Curve 9320 from its predecessor, the Curve 9220. The smartphone can be turned into a Wi-Fi hotspot, a feature that RIM had reserved only for its high-end products till the beginning of this year. With this, the Curve 9320 can be used to share internet with up to five different devices.

There's hardly any other notable change. Like the Curve 9220, the 9320 features a 2.44-inch display with a resolution of 320x240 pixels, the distinct BlackBerry Qwerty keypad, a 2 megapixel camera, stereo FM and media player, and expandable memory up to 32 GB. It also comes with a dedicated BBM button, which was introduced in the Curve 9220. The Curve 9320 can be connected to other devices through Bluetooth, USB and Wi-Fi.

The smartphone is yet to be launched in India. Although RIM hasn't disclosed the INR price of the product, it's confirmed that the Curve 9320 will be cost less than 15,000. It's expected to be out in the market by the end of next month.
