'Disco Zoo' next up from 'Tiny Tower' studio

Launching on the App Store this Thursday is "Disco Zoo," the latest from "Tiny Tower" and "Pocket Planes" developer NimbleBit.

Launching on the App Store this Thursday is 'Disco Zoo,' the latest from 'Tiny Tower' and 'Pocket Planes' developer NimbleBit.

It's part zoo-keeping sim, part pattern-matching puzzle, and part funky penguin dancefloor.

The app has been developed in collaboration with the Canadian team Milkbag Games, whose personnel previously worked on the well received 'Trainyard,' 'Dapple' and 'Baby's Musical Hands.'

NimbleBit most recently developed and published 'Tiny Death Star,' the first fruits of Disney's LucasArts acquisition, across Android, iOS, and Windows devices in November 2013.

'Disco Zoo' puts on its App Store fancy pants from February 27.
