Huawei MediaPad T8 launched in India starting at ₹9,999: Here are the specs and features

Huawei has just unveiled a bunch of products at the IFA 2020 conference and now it has brought the MediaPad T8 to India. The tablet will be exclusively available via Flipkart at ₹9,999 (WiFi) and ₹10,999 (LTE). You can pre-order the device starting today (September 8) until September 14. Huawei says that its MediaPad T8 will be available with some bank offers as well. As per the firm, the MediaPad T8 is aimed at consumers who want a ‘power packed' performance and ‘premium features'.

Sporting a metal build, the MediaPad T8 feature an 8-inch screen and is powered by a 5100mAh battery, which is claimed to run for up to 12 hours of video playback and web browsing. Powered by the octa-core chipset in addition to 2GB RAM+32GB inbuilt storage, the tablet runs on EMUI10. The UI makes switching between apps quick and easy. It also includes Dark Mode for easy reading. There's a facial unlock feature that is accessible by ‘raising your wrist' with fast identification capabilities.

You get pre-installed apps such as a recorder, camera, multimedia and Kids Painting.

The device also includes parental controls so they can be alerted when children access certain apps and settings. They can also control how much time the kid spends on the tablet.
