NTA JEE Main 2021 exam application forms: Finally, Union Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal has made the crucial announcements and now applications forms are available online to students on official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.

NTA JEE Main 2021 exam application forms are now available online as registration process has been started by authorities and crucial dates revealed. This comes after weeks of uncertainty about when the exams will be held. Doubts were raised whether the exam would be held as specified earlier, especially as the third wave of Covid-19 is expected to hit sometime in August and any congregations in large numbers, including travelling, would pose grave danger to candidates. Very few updates were available on official website jeemain.nta.nic.in and that had generated great uncertainty in student community.

However, on Tuesday, the Ministry of Education has finally, announced the JEE Main (April and May) sessions 2021 exam dates and thrown open online registration windows to all. While the April session will be held from 20th to 25th July, the May JEE Mains session will be held from 27th July-2 August.

The NTA JEE Main 2021 exam process for online registration too has been started and candidates can start accessing their application forms, filling and submitting them in the online mode. They can apply on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.

As per the instructions, the April session window is open for registrations from 6th July to 8th July. And for JEE Main (May) session, registrations window will be open from 9th to 12th July.

According to NTA, 6.80 lakh candidates have registered for JEE Main April 2021 already and those who could not apply earlier can do so now. For the May session, over 6 lakh candidates have registered themselves on the portal.

Importantly, those who had applied earlier for the April and May sessions have been allowed to effect changes in their form including session, category, subject, and more. The window for doing that is open between from 6th July to 8th July for April session and 9th July to 12th July for May session.

The NTA JEE Main 2021 exam dates announcement was made by Union Education Minister Ramesh ‘Nishank' Pokhriyal on Tuesday through a live session.

To ensure proper proper social distancing is maintained, the number of test centres has been increased from 660 to 828 now. Even the number of test cities has been hiked from 232 to 334.
