The iPhone 6S may cost a crazy Rs. 62,000 in India
OK, so buying an iPhone in India has never been cheap, but this year, it's likely to be more expensive than ever before.
Mobile phone price comparison website Pricebaba.com, which has had a fairly accurate record of predicting mobile pricing so far, just tweeted this

The iPhone 6S, which features a better camera and a pressure-sensitive display, is certainly a better phone than its predecessor, the iPhone 6, but seriously, these prices, which might be because of a weaker rupee, are kind of nuts. There are dozens of cheaper Android phones in the market which feature comparable specs and cost a third of what these new iPhones are likely to cost.
Apple's distribution partner Ingram Micro has confirmed that the new iPhones will go on sale in 2,500 retail stores across 80 Indian cities at 12am on October 16, Apple's fastest rollout in the country yet.
If you're done robbing that bank vault, we suggest you line up early since stores often run out of stock in a few hours.
