Twitter is reportedly experimenting with a new 'Fave People' timeline that would allows users to see tweets from only their favourite users.

The timeline has been rolled out in alpha version for Android, which suggests that the feature could soon be rolled out into the company's regular mobile app or be scrapped based on the reviews by early testers.

According to The Verge, the microblogging site had launched an Android update last year that included an option to star/favourite other users, allowing for push notifications to be displayed for every new tweet from the favourite account.

The Fave People timeline collects all of such preferred users in one place and is basically an extremely simplified approach to Twitter's existing 'Lists.'
