Realme smart TV Blind Orders begin ahead of launch, features confirmed

Realme is about to launch its first ever TV in India on May 25, a teaser of which we recently saw on e-commerce website, Flipkart. However, now, the firm has begun blind order for the TVs via the Realme.com website.The landing page mentions ‘Realme smart TV' along with a shot of the TV from the front. One can see the home appliance to feature thin bezels on the top and sides.

So what is Realme TV ‘Blind Order'?

As the firm explains it, in ‘Blind Order', interested buyers would have to pay ₹2,000 as a deposit to book the TV in advance. This option will be available from 18th May to 24th May. After this, they can log in and pay the remaining amount once the TV has been launched. This option will be available from 25th May to 31st May. Realme says that buyers will also get a ₹500 off coupon on every single purchase of above ₹5,000 from the website. These coupons will have validity from 1st June to 30th June.

Realme smart TV confirmed features

Besides mentioning the 25th May (12.30PM IST) as the launch date, Realme adds that its upcoming product will feature a ‘premium bezel-less design' with Chroma Boost picture engine and up to 400 nits brightness levels. It will be powered by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek processor, ARM Cortex-A52 CPU and Mali-470 MP3 GPU.

In terms of audio, the smart TV will come with 24W four stereo speakers, which Realme claims, is the first in the segment. This comes in addition to Dolby Audio support.

The firm even boasts on the quality testing of the remote and the TV itself. The product has gone through -20 degree low temperature tests, 760mm drop test, 5000 times remote button test and 5500 times power on/off test.
