Apple Watch has a new challenge for International Women's Day

Apple Watch users can get a virtual trophy and animated stickers on completing the challenge.

Apple has a new Apple Watch challenge in celebration of International Women's Day in March. The International Women's Day challenge has a virtual trophy and animated stickers on completing it.

Apple Watch users will start seeing the new challenge as March 8 gets closer, according to 9to5Mac. The challenge requires Apple Watch users to complete a workout of at least 20 minutes or more on International Women's Day. The desired workout can be chosen by the Apple Watch user, and it can be a 20-minute yoga session or a 20-minute run. Basically, the workout has to be recorded on the Workout app or any app that can be synced with the Health app.

Apple Watch will reward users who complete the challenge a virtual trophy. It will also unlock five animated stickers that can be used in Messages and FaceTime, and apps where iMessage stickers work. The stickers include a female gender symbol, two women in different skin tones standing and waving, a woman in a wheelchair waving, and a 2021 sticker.

With less than two weeks to go for International Women's Day, Apple Watch users should start seeing the workout challenge soon.

Apple regularly hosts Apple Watch challenges with this one being the latest. It recently celebrated Heart Month with a challenge to complete 60 minutes of exercise on Valentine's Day. There's also the ‘Get Active India' challenge that's currently going on till March 15. The challenge requires Apple Watch users to close the Activity rings everyday. Points from all participants will be calculated to determine the ranking of your city on the leaderboard.
