It is the early morning hours and you are just between your peaceful dream when the alarm suddenly blasts off on your sibling’s iPhone. Your sibling has no intention to wake up and you the iPhone alarm keeps blaring! And you don’t want to wake up as well — how will you silence the iPhone alarm? Obviously, the iPhone is all about privacy and your sibling’s iPhone won’t let you access their alarm, or turn it off, or do a voice control thing. And if they have disabled Siri, you are out of luck. Thankfully, there is a way to control the alarm on your sibling’s iPhone, provided your entire family uses iPhones.

For this, you will have to enable Family Sharing on your iPhone, and on your family’s iPhone or iOS devices. You will need to set up Family Sharing wherein all members will need to have an active Apple ID and you will need their consent to add them to the group. Once that is done, you can gain some control over your family member’s iPhone via Siri for automation, or remote control.

Once this is done, all you will need to do its rely on Siri on your iPhone or iPad to silence the alarm. This is what you need to do.

How to Silence alarm via Siri on others' iPhone

Step 1:

When the alarm on your sibling’s iPhone rings up, simply summon Siri on your iPhone or iPad.

Step 2:

Next, simply tell Siri — Hey Siri, turn off the alarm on XYZ’s iPhone.

Step 3:

Siri will automatically silence the alarm, and you can go back to your slumber.

Step 4:

The process will also work on HomePod mini and macOS devices.
