4 Reasons we have for you to avoid the iPhone 13 now! Yes, even though the iPhone 13 has been our favourite overall for several months, we think it is not a clever idea to spend a fortune on any of the iPhone 13 models, unless you are in desperate need for a phone. Because if you are waiting to upgrade to the latest one, the next-generation iPhone 14 series is coming up with some serious changes that could make for a much better iPhone experience, as suggested by the rumours and leaks.
Hence, if you are willing to upgrade from your older iPhone X or older, waiting for the iPhone 14 launch could pay huge dividends. We have looked at all leaks and rumours from the past few months and there four big upgrades coming to the iPhone 14, which every iPhone fan should be highly excited for.
This year, the biggest change to the iPhone lineup will the omission the Mini model. Yes, that small puny 5.4-inch iPhone is going away and in its place will come the larger 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max. This will be essentially an iPhone 13 Pro Max without the Pro bits, i.e., no triple rear cameras, one more years of the notch, no 120Hz display, and the likes. For those wanting a bigger iPhone without venturing into the Pro territory, this could be a good deal.
The iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will finally get rid of the dreadful display notch that has been around for years. In its place will sit the display cutouts for the cameras and sensors in the shape of pills and holes. This will release the space around the cameras and it remains to be seen how Apple uses this space to the phone’s advantage.
The Pro variants of the iPhone 14 are also getting a new and larger camera sensor. The iPhone 14 Pro could hence show us more incredible photography performances than the current-gen models. Expect to see improvements in low light photography as well as better overall details.
Apparently Apple is now willing to reuse the A15 Bionic chip from the iPhone 13 for the iPhone 14 as well. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max could use the A15 chip again whereas the iPhone 14 Pro variants could use the newer A16 chip with more power and performance to offer. The A15 is still the fastest chip around on a smartphone and it powering the iPhone 14 won’t be a big deal, if that allows Apple to reduce the prices of the iPhone 14 by a notch (get it? Get the pun? iPhone – notch?)
