Apple iPhone 12 design revealed in detailed video

A detailed YouTube video made by designer Mauro Battino and YouTuber ConceptsiPhone puts together everything we know about the upcoming Apple iPhone 12 Pro so far and the details are quite stunning.

The YouTuber labels it as “100% Final Design”, and while there is no way to deny or confirm that, it’s an interesting angle to consider.

The most interesting detail you can spot in the video is the “combination of a smaller notch and the sharper iPhone 4-inspired angles”. According to this video, the iPhone 12 Pro and the iPhone 12 Pro Max displays will be getting larger this year, but the iPhone 12’s entry-level model might actually get a smaller screen.

There is also a quad-camera setup at the back but the additional fourth module is the LiDAR sensor that will help the new iPhone with better AR capabilities and 3D environmental mapping. Details on the back also show off this very cool Navy Blue colour option. The iPhone 11 came in a stunning Midnight Green which has been deemed quite popular, so this new blue colour might also do quite well.

The video also brings up the Apple A14 chip which is expected to be Apple’s biggest performance upgrade in years and also marks the company’s move into 5G. The 120Hz ProMotion display feature, that has been spotted in other leaks, has not been mentioned in this video.

The video also does not mention the price. However, rumour has it that Apple will actually be cutting the entry-level price and transition into 5G with the iPhone Pro line-up without increasing the asking price. That might be the biggest concern for Apple’s rivals.
