You may have to wait longer for the new iPhones this year. Apple has already confirmed that the iPhone 12 series has been delayed by “a few weeks.” Now, leakster/YouTuber Jon Prosser has revealed a definite launch timeline for not only the iPhone 12 but next-gen Apple Watch and iPads.
According to Prosser, the Apple iPhone 12 launch will take place on October 12. The pre-orders of the phone will begin the same day. Prosser says the new iPhones will start shipping starting October 19.
As far as the other Apple devices go, the company is not going to unveil one of them before the iPhone 12 launch. The next-gen Apple Watch will be announced on September 7. The new iPads will come much later in November. So far, there is no exact date for the launch of the tablets.
Apple’s iPhone 12 series is set to launch with a slew of upgrades. This also includes the 5G support for the first time on iPhones. For markets like India, Apple will have LTE models as well. If reports are to be believed, Apple will unveil at least four variants of the iPhone 12 including a compact 5.4-inch model. The 5G models will come with OLED screens.
