For the most part, the highlights of Asus have lately been either the Asus ROG Phone or the ZenFone series ever since 2018. And since then we haven’t seen a budget handset as popular as the Asus Max series. But the lineup could be making a comeback real soon. And this time there could be at least three devices in the series as per the latest leak.
As per the new leak posted by a user named @yabhishekhd on Twitter, the Taiwanese tech firm could bring as many as four devices that have chipsets codenamed as Lito, Lagoon, Bengal and Scuba. As per a user, these are chipsets Snapdragon 765G, Snapdragon 690, Snapdragon 662 or 460 and Snapdragon 200 series. And all of these will be fitted in Asus Max Pro M3, Max M3 and Max M3 Lite.

So, even if we assume these three handsets to come with aforementioned Snapdragon chipsets, Asus might just end up covering a wide price spectrum. The handsets could range from anywhere from between ₹15,000 or less to ₹40,000. And this is likely the case only if they launch in India. We assume the Max series won’t go beyond ₹45,000 as you enter the ROG Phone 3 arena at ₹49,999. However, all of these are mere guesses for now and nothing can be said for sure.
Talking about the smartphones, Asus recently made its ZenFone 7 flagship series official. The line up featuring Zenfone 7 and Zenfone 7 Pro come with flip cameras just like last year’s Zenfone 6. However, this time there are three sensors instead of two.
