Asus ROG Phone 3 gets up to ₹6,000 discount during Flipkart Electronics Sale

Asus has already announced its ROG Phone 5 gaming smartphone in India. The series includes ROG Phone 5, Phone 5 Pro and Phone 5 Ultimate - all of which will be hitting the shelves. While there’s still some time before the sale begins (April 15), the company, during the media briefing for ROG Phone 5, said that it plans to continue selling ROG Phone 3. And if you are a mobile gaming enthusiast, you can get it at a temporary discount during the Flipkart’s Electronic Sale. The sale is supposed to run for 5 days from March 16 to March 20, 2021.

As a part of the sale, interested customers can get the 8GB RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage version at ₹41,999, which is ₹5,000 less than the usual cost. What’s more is that users making a purchase via HDFC Credit Bank and Credit Card EMIs can get up to ₹1,000 instant discount, which brings down the total cost of the variant to ₹40,999. Same goes for the 12GB RAM + 128GB storage model, which is available at ₹4,000 less excluding the instant discount of ₹1,000 for HDFC users.

Asus ROG Phone 3 features a 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with 10-bit HDR10+ support and 144Hz refresh rate. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor with 3.1GHz clock speed and Adreno 650 GPU. For better performance management, it comes with Copper 3D vapour chamber and a larger graphite film to keep things cool. Other key features include side-mounted Type-C port, X-mode for setting different performance parameters, and more.

On the camera front, ROG Phone 3 has a combination of 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor Quad Bayer technology and f/1.8 aperture + 13-megapixel 125-degree ultra-wide camera + 5-megapixel macro camera with f/2.0 aperture. At the front, there is a 24-megapixel f/2.0 camera. The smartphone can record 8K resolution videos at 30fps. It is backed by a 6,000mAh battery.

On the other hand, the ROG Phone 5 is priced at ₹49,999 for 8GB + 128GB and ₹57,999 for 12GB + 256GB model. The 5 Pro comes in just one variant (16GB + 512GB) at ₹69,999. The ROG Phone 5 Ultimate is priced at ₹79,999 for the 18GB + 256GB variant.
