The countdown has officially begun. Google is all set to host its annual fall event wherein the company will be unveiling its Pixel 6 series smartphones consisting of the Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro smartphones. For those Pixel fans who haven’t been keeping up with the updates, Google will be hosting its annual fall event on Tuesday, October 19. Interestingly, the Pixel launch event follows Apple’s Unleashed event on October 18 wherein it is expected to launch the next-generation MacBook laptops and Mac PCs. It precedes Samsung’s Unpacked Part 2 event wherein it is expected to make announcements about its smart device portfolio and its bouquet of apps.

The Google Pixel 6 series smartphone launch event will be held on October 19 via a special event at 10 AM PT or 10:30 PM IST. Pixel fans can tune into the company’s Google events page to watch the event live.

Google Pixel launch event: What to expect?

Google has already confirmed that it will be launching the Pixel 6 series smartphones at its annual fall event. The Pixel 6 series will include the Google Pixel 6 and the Google Pixel 6 Pro smartphones. These smartphones will be powered by Google’s own Tensor chipset and come with a triple rear camera setup along with a radically different design. They will also be the first Android smartphones this year to get the Android 12 mobile operating system. These features have already been confirmed by Google via a series of teasers over the span of the past couple of weeks.

If reports are to be believed, the Pixel 6 series will get a 120Hz display and at least five years of security updates. On the pricing front, the Google Pixel 6 is likely to be priced at 649 Euros ( 56,487 approx.). On the other hand, the Pixel 6 Pro is likely to be priced at around 899 Euros ( 78,247 approx.). Beyond this, nothing much is known about the upcoming event. Guess, we will have to wait until October 19 to know more.
