iQOO 8, iQOO 8 Pro to come in BMW M Motorsport colourways; check price

iQOO 8 series is official. The company has announced its iQOO 8 and iQOO 8 Pro smartphones in China. These come as successor to the iQOO 7 series that was launched in January earlier this year. The latest smartphones get a wide range of updates. Moreover, they come in BMW M Motorsport colourways. The duo comes in a number of finishes.

The iQOO 8 price in China starts at CNY 3,799 (approx. ₹43,600) for the 8GB + 128GB storage model. On the other hand, the 12GB + 256GB storage model is priced at CNY 4,199 (approx. ₹48,200). It comes in two finishes of Legendary Edition with the BMW M Motorsport colourway and a Black colour variant. As for the iQOO 8 Pro, it is priced at CNY 4,999 (approx R. 57,300) for the 8GB + 256GB storage variant. Further, it costs CNY 5,499 (approx. ₹63,100) for the 12GB + 256GB storage model, and CNY 5,999 (approx. ₹68,800) for the 12GB + 512GB storage configuration. It comes in two finishes — Legendary Edition and Track Version.

Starting with the iQOO 8, it features a 6.56-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,376 pixels) AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colour, 19.8:9 aspect ratio, 92.76 screen-to-body ratio, and 398ppi pixel density. It is powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC. The smartphone sports a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP primary camera. It is accompanied by a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 13MP portrait camera. On the front lies a 16MP selfie shooter. The smartphone packs a 4,350mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. Further, it measures 159.06x75.14x8.63mm and weighs just under 200 grams at 199.9 grams.

On the other hand, the iQOO 8 Pro comes equipped with a larger 6.78-inch 2K (1,440x3,200 pixels) AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, 92.2 percent screen-to-body ratio, 517ppi pixel density, and HDR support. Under the hood lies the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset. It has a triple rear camera that is led by a 50MP sensor. You also get a 48MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 16MP portrait lens. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie shooter. The smartphone packs a bigger 4,500mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging as well as 50W fast wireless charging. It measures 165.01x75.2x9.19mm and weighs 202.5 grams.
